There are a wide variety of reasons that would lead someone to decide that it's time to start talking to garage builders. Why are you considering a new garage?
- Car storage – This is probably the most common reason. It really makes sense. If you can park your car in a place each night and have it protected from whatever weather elements are coming through at the time, your car will be better off for it. A garage also adds a level of security against having your car stolen, vandalized or otherwise damaged. But over and above all that, on a cold February morning it's just really nice to be able to access your car and drive away from under a protected structure. - Workshop – For any kind of small projects like woodworking, small engine repair, etc. a garage is the ideal place. If you like to work on your car sometimes, you know it is pretty much impossible to do that outdoors in the winter because of the weather and temperatures. - Outdoor and sports equipment – With your new garage, you will love having a great place to store your riding lawn mower, your hand mower, your bicycles, your cross-country skiis, your watersports equipment, your volleyball net, your croquet set, etc. Really, anything that you use and value can be stored in the garage so that it is protected from the elements. Your garage is also a secure place to store these items in order to protect them from getting stolen – just keeping them in the yard or behind your house is an open invitation to thieves and vandals. In the garage, you won't have to worry.

You need to figure out how much available space you have on your property (the garage wall has to be set back a certain distance from the property line – we can help you determine that based on local codes and ordinances).
